At the Center for Counseling and Conscious Healing, we believe that access to affordable quality mental health care is a fundamental human right. We strive to set the private pay-per-session rates for pre-licensed therapists and interns significantly lower than our seasoned and licensed therapists to increase access and availability to care while still providing the highest quality care to you. This can mean significant financial savings when looking at the potential long-term costs of seeking treatment. We have also found that many people will opt to see a pre-licensed clinician or Intern who is not paneled with their insurance company because the per-session rate can be lower than the copay or cost of counseling using their high deductible plans.

If you are interested in seeing a Pre-Licensed Therapist or Intern, know that we are highly selective in our hiring process and that the therapist works extremely closely with the supervising clinician to ensure their development and the quality of the treatment they deliver. Not all insurances will reimburse for pre-licensed therapists or interns, so it is essential to talk with our administrative staff to assess if a pre-licensed clinician or Intern is the best fit for you.

If you do not see your insurance provider listed here, please contact our administrative team. You may have out-of-network benefits available to you through your insurance provider. If you have questions regarding coverage please reach out to our administrative team.

For more information regarding your specific insurance plan please reach out to your insurance provider. Some questions to ask them are:

  • Is this office in network for your plan?
  • Do I have outpatient mental health benefits?
  • Do I have a copay? If so, how much is it?
  • Do I have a deductible? If so, how much is remaining and is there a coinsurance?
  • Do I have a limit on therapy sessions?
