Brian E. Dick, MA, MBA, LPC
Hello! I’m Brian and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I have worked in the behavioral health field for 33 years in various community (public) -based mental health, substance abuse and hospital settings. A significant part of my career has involved managing behavioral health programs and administration. I have also spent significant time as an appointed therapist in family court settings, including domestic relations, and child welfare. Throughout my career I have spent considerable time working with children, teens, families, and parents.
My main interests are providing EMDR therapy and working with complex trauma. I am an EMDRIA Certified Therapist, and an EMDRIA Approved Consultant In Training, where I have provided consultation for new EMDR therapists. I’m currently on the staff at the Trauma Therapist Institute (TTI), a national EMDR training organization based in Denver, CO. I am also a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress, and have been Certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT) since 2016.
I would appreciate the opportunity to work with you!
Brian’s Hobbies & Interests
Since my early teens, I have been an FCC licensed Amateur Radio Operator, communicating across the country and continents over the airwaves. I’m also a musician and have performed in symphonic concert and jazz bands over many years – now playing mostly in community bands. When the weather allows, I enjoy landscape and nature photography.
